HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happiest of New Years to all of you! We all wish you all the best in everything you do. We are excited 2018 brought us a fresh new look with our logo and website. 2019 will bring online training programs. Keep your eyes open.
Team Mindful Yoga Therapy is expanding our mission and our logos reflect those changes.
So what do these changes mean?
The only noticeable change should be the logo. Over the past few years we have slowly and quietly expanded the application of the Mindful Yoga Therapy process to other groups other than Veterans.
Mindful Yoga Therapy is Not Just For Veterans anymore! We have found this process also benefits many other populations.
Yoga teachers working with people living with or managing any of the following are also welcome to attend our programs.
STRESS & ANXIETY DISORDERS
DRUG & ALCOHOL ADDICTION
OTHER VICTIMS OF TRAUMA
DISEASES OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
So we now will use specific logos to identify which population(s) we are targeting with our programs.
THE NEW LOGOS…
This is the new Mindful Yoga Center (MYC) logo. The Mindful Yoga Center is home to Mindful Yoga Therapy, a non-profit organization which is bring the healing arts to populations who are living with or managing various traumas.
MYC has weekly classes that include such classes like: Yoga for Beginners, Ashtanga, and Mixed Vinyasa. The center also has teacher trainings and workshops including our Mindful Yoga Therapy programs.
This is the new logo we will be using when we are focusing on the Veteran population. Mindful Yoga Therapy (MYT) started out in 2010 focusing exclusively on this population. We will continue to tirelessly work towards supporting our nation’s WARRIORS by training yoga teachers, creating veteran retreats, and by providing free resources and scholarships.
We will use this logo when we are addressing programs geared towards veterans and their families.
Over the years we have learned the Mindful Yoga Therapy process works on a number of trauma related issues above and beyond Veteran Post Traumatic Stress. Not only are we tailoring our programs toward other populations, we are currently working on a brand new stand alone Stress and Anxiety program. Stay tuned for more on that.
This is the logo we will use when we are addressing programs geared towards the general population who is living with or managing other trauma.
